Mount Gladys is one of the
lesser peaks, and is located just above Flapjack Lakes on the southeast
side of the Olympics. Here's some wildlife on the mountain...

Heading up in July of 2000 afforded
the opportunity to see more wildlife including black bear, mountain lillies,
and this fawn by Flapjack Lakes.
This fern is growing in a bed of
"pillow lava", a common site on this trail.
